The pensionary benefits are authorized for the following categories:

• State Government employees and their families covered under the Meghalaya Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1983
• All India Service officers of Assam-Meghalaya cadre posted in Meghalaya.
• Constitutional authorities such as Hon’ble Judges of the High Court in the State and State Administrative Tribunal, Members of Legislative Assembly, Members of State Public Service Commission, etc.
